Aparupa to Provide Financial Aid to 50 Cancer Patients

Aparupa will provide financial assistance to 50 economically disadvantaged cancer patients as part of its cancer awareness and prevention initiative in Guwahati. Each beneficiary will receive ₹10,000 along with support for medicines and chemotherapy. The programme will also feature discussions on cancer detection, treatment and palliative care, with Bollywood actress Sangeeta Bijlani attending as a special guest.

Women’s Safety Protest Held at Chandraprabha Saikiani Bhawan in Guwahati

A protest meeting was organised at Chandraprabha Saikiani Bhawan in Guwahati, demanding stronger measures to ensure women’s safety and prevent crimes against women. Organised by the Assam Pradeshik Mahila Samiti with support from Aparupa, the meeting called for strict action against perpetrators and greater public awareness about women’s rights and safety. Participants also urged authorities to strengthen measures to protect women and ensure justice for victims.

Flood Relief 2026 – Upper Assam

As part of our Flood Relief 2026 initiative, our NGO is providing essential relief and humanitarian assistance to flood-affected families in Upper Assam. The relief activities are being carried out across Jamuna Road, Rukmini Nagar, Majgaon, Betbari, Nimaijan and Bhatiapar, with the objective of supporting affected communities and helping families meet their immediate needs during this difficult time.

Aparupa Extends Flood Relief to Affected Families in Sivasagar and Charaideo

Aparupa, with support from Help Group, Uddipana and Ishwar, distributed relief materials to nearly 1,000 flood-affected families across several areas of Sivasagar and Charaideo districts on August 6. The assistance included essential food items, daily necessities and medicines. The organisation said it has been extending support to flood-affected communities every year.
